Established in 2021, after relocating to Bristol, Rowan Elwell Tree Services has spent the last few years serving the local community. We are fully qualified LANTRA & NPTC machine and climbing certified and proud to carry out tree works according to the British Standard BS3998 current guidelines of practice. Rowan is a fully credentialed ISA Certified Arborist® and Technician Member of The Arboricultural Association (TechArborA). He also holds certification in Professional Tree Inspection (PTI).

My Story
My name is Rowan Willow (Fun fact… the botanical translation of my name could be ‘Sorbus salix’) Elwell. 'Nominative determinism', I think, is the term you give for someone whose name aligns with their profession.
I grew up on the edge of The New Forest National Park, on the border between Dorset and Hampshire and just a stones throw from the Jurassic Coast. The forest was right on our doorstep, and this led naturally to a passion for the outdoors, adventure and well…trees.
This is where I started my adventure in the Arboriculture industry, and I was fortunate enough to train under some of the industry’s leading professionals.
I pride myself in keeping up to date on current practice and all relevant skills, including certifications in Professional Tree Inspection, Risk Analysis, Wilderness Medicine and First Response Emergency Care.
